"The Texas Way" is an initiative created to improve sportsmanship at the middle and high school level directed to coaches and athletes. The program was developed by 2Words Character Development at the request of the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) and the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA). Since the creation of The Texas Way, the University Interscholastic League (UIL), Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA), the Texas High Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA), and the Texas Basketball Coaches Association (TABC) have each announced their support of The Texas Way. This is the first time that all the major stakeholders have united in an effort to turn the current trend of increasing poor sportsmanship at the middle and high school levels.

Abilene, let's lead from the front and get ALL of our officials certified! It only takes about an hour, and the certification program can be started HERE.
